As a Placement Readiness Specialist, your mission is to coach and guide interns through the placement matching process with empathy, confidence and warmth.
You’ll thrive here if you love seeing people grow, take pride in measurable impact, and find joy in helping others take their next professional step.
This is a fast-paced, collaborative role where empathy meets accountability and coaching meets operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Coaching interns by running mock interviews, giving actionable feedback, and helping them present their best selves.
Deliver engaging bootcamp sessions and support interns in developing essential soft skills, and build workplace readiness.
Guiding interns through key pre-internship moments by helping them prepare for interviews, make confident decisions, and manage expectations with calm, clear communication.
Championing clarity by reinforcing program guidelines, simplifying complex choices, and ensuring every intern keeps moving forward with confidence, while feeling supported.
Why You’ll Love This Role
You’ll see real impact: Every success story starts with you - a career launchpad. The clarity and confidence you build during the placement matching process directly shape interns' growth and success.
You’ll grow fast: Gain hands-on experience in coaching, education, and program management within a global EdTech startup.
You’ll be empowered: We value autonomy and trust you to experiment, learn, and own your outcomes.
You’ll make a global impact: Your work helps level the playing field for learners around the world.
(P.S. The secret password is “Clarity”—you’ll need it later!)
Who We're Looking For
Your Attributes
You’ll know you’re the right fit if this sounds like you:
You own the outcome: You take initiative, navigate ambiguity, and always find a way forward. You see challenges as opportunities to deliver results.
You level up fast: You seek feedback early, apply it quickly, and share what you learn. You’re humble, curious, and growth-oriented.
You balance accountability with empathy: You understand that support and accountability go hand in hand, creating trust while ensuring progress.
You turn complexity into clarity: You simplify, communicate with compassion, and close loops so everyone knows next steps.
You thrive in a global, remote team: You’re comfortable across time zones and cultures.
Your Experience
You’ll bring 1–3 years of experience in one or more of these areas, but more importantly, you’ll have stories that show how you’ve helped people move from uncertainty to readiness, and potential to performance.
Career Services / University Advising: You’ve helped students or graduates prepare for jobs or internships through resume reviews, mock interviews, or confidence-building sessions.
Learning & Development / Coaching: You’ve guided individuals or groups through growth, skill-building, or mindset shifts.
Program Management / Education Services: You’ve delivered structured, human-centered programs that balance impact and efficiency.
Working in a Remote Environment: You know how to navigate time zones, cultures, and asynchronous communication with ease.
You'll stand out from the crowd if:
You’ve coached or mentored students through recruitment or early career programs.
You naturally balance empathy with accountability.
Get energy from helping others succeed, you’re motivated by progress and transformation.
Communicate with warmth and precision, knowing when to challenge and when to reassure.
Balance speed with quality. You move fast, but you don’t cut corners.
If you’re passionate about helping people grow and love connecting ownership with empathy, we’d love to hear from you even if you don’t tick every box.
